We are a charity organisation and have been broadcasting to patients of local hospitals for over 35-years. We need volunteers who can contribute to the success of the station, whether it is presenting, request collecting, fund-raising or ward visiting. If you would like to join us and provide fun and entertainment to the patients please don't hesitate to contact us.

Do you have a few hours to spare each week? Do you enjoy meeting people?

Or maybe you just like good music. Whatever your reason there could be a place for you here at Radio Lonsdale.

We welcome potential volunteers, 16 years and over, from all walks of life. Some of our volunteers have gone on to work in the radio industry. Your involvement can lead to presenting your own show, organising fund-raising events, or even help in managing and promoting the station.

Hospital radio is ideal training ground for the radio industry and several of our past presenters have since worked on local stations including Lakeland Radio and The Bay.
